LAUGHTER YOGA (45 - 60 Minutes)

Any venue with a presentation area

Kick off your conference with a laughter session, or increase employee integration with an engaging,

high-energy, high-impact team building workshop.

These short sessions can be a fresh alternative to a coffee break between programs at your conference, or an enthusiastic start to the training day.

A room at least 15m X 7m with a carpeted or tiled floor is required

This fun event enables you to experience a riveting evening of 'frog' racing at your own pad or almost any venue. Come and try your luck as a punter and your skills as a jockey. You may even become the proud owner of a "racing frog" but only for the evening! 

Frogs come up for auction and are sold to the highest bidder, betting booths are opened, jockeys selected and then the racing begins. The fastest frogs from each race qualify to "hop" in the Grand Final. Winner takes all!

SCRABBLEMATICS (1-2 Hours)

A large room, with at least one table for every three participants, is required.

If you are looking for a fun “ice-breaker”, a refreshing break between speakers or for some evening entertainment, Scrabblematics is the solution. 

Basic arithmetic and “word games” are the order of the day as “ever changing” teams try and find the best solution within the given time frame.  This is a great way for people to get to meet and at least get to know each other’s names.

SUSHI MAKING TEAM BUILD

Note: Sushi is not only about raw fish. Many delicious Sushi dishes can be prepared using the rice and other delicious cooked and vegetable ingredients.

Learn more than you ever dreamt about the food fashion of the times. This fascinating and fun course covers different types of Sushi (Maki, Sashimi, Nagiri, Hand Rolls etc..), how to prepare Sushi Rice & Preparation of fillings, etc.

Demonstration is over an hour and delegates then have the satisfaction of preparing their own sushi including California rolls with plenty of Sushi & Sashimi for even the most ardent fan to feast on.

We organize a day where individuals/teams challenge each other on various games and we then determine who is the best of the best.

Be it individual games, team games, karaoke, guitar hero we'll find a way to ensure everyone competes. At the end of the day its about winding down and having a laugh, but being competitive at the same time!  Choose from the PS2, Nintendo Wii and PS3 Consoles and get your game face on!

CRAZY SPORT (2, 3 or 4 Hours)

Any venue with sufficient indoor or outdoor space

You get to choose from a wide selection of activities and design your own customised event. Each team will create a flag and an anthem. On the day of the event your group will be divided into teams. Each team will create a flag and an anthem.

The teams will then rotate between the challenges every fifteen minutes. Points are awarded to the teams according to the positions in which they finish.

INFLATABLE SPORTS (2 Hours)

• A large and reasonably flat grassed area of about 50 x 50 meters is required

Inflatable Sports & Events is a giant colourful obstacle course, providing great spectator value and participation excitement. We provide a powerful sound system contributing to the carnival atmosphere.

Teams of participants compete against the clock, as they have to make their way through the obstacle course. The obstacle course has something for everyone and physical strength and fitness is not a pre-requisite to be able to participate. We have various programs which can be “toned” up or down depending on the individual or group.

BOERESPORTS (2 - 3 Hours)

A large and reasonably flat grassed area is ideal

A series of tradional boere games ranging from 3 legged racing, tug of war, wheel barrow racing and other "lekker" games to determine the best team or competitor for the day.  Boere sports promises to put the “WoW” back into fun, no matter what age, fun for young and old!!  Games include:

Egg Throwing – Team throwing and catching before the egg is splatted.
4 legged racing - Three participants, one backwards, tied at the legs
Land Ski-ing - A team-building game using wooden skiis to complete an obstacle course
Sack Races - Good old-fashioned sack racing
Drinking Competitions - Depending on the social vibe Sportsman facilitates a host of fun games

WATERKASKENADES (2 - 3 Hours)

A large and reasonably flat grassed area is ideal

We setup 5-8 stations and competitiors have to negotiate there way through slippery water challenges, carry water over and through inflatables. It's a great day out, but remember to bring a spare change of clothes.

SOCIAL SPORTS (2 - 3 Hours)

A large and reasonably flat grassed area is ideal

The following are a selection of socially orientated sports. Special rule adaptations have been made by professional sportsman to ensure great fun and maximum participation.

• Rounders - Social form of Softball, with everyone hitting and fielding
• Frizbee Soccer - An hilarious mixture of netball, soccer and Frizzbee throwing
• Social Volleyball - A max of 8 per team. 1 Rule - Get the ball over the Net!!
• 6 A-side Soccer - Knock-out soccer competition on a shortened field
• Touch Rugby - Social 5 a side Touchies.
• Indoor Cricket – Same game but adapated for your venue or on a tennis court

FIRE WALKING - IDEAL FOR SALES & LEADERSHIP TEAMS (3-4 Hours)

Any venue with suitable outdoor area, presentation area and permission to make fires

Fire symbolises the challenges people avoid. By discovering that they can walk unscathed across a bed of glowing coals, people master the art of overcoming their personal and professional thresholds, barriers and fears. They admit that fear is merely a belief, an obstacle between them and success. As they step onto the coals, they pass through the “gateway of fear,” and in so doing, learn to make fear their servant rather than their master. This astonishing activity has lasting benefits for the participants.

They learn to singularly focus their minds, take deliberate control of their thoughts and master the ability to actively attain “inconceivable” goals. It provides them with a highly personal reference point to what is humanly possible. In short, participants’ limiting attitudes are literally blown away, and replaced by tangible delimiting beliefs and actions.

This accelerated deep-bonding process is perfect for sales and leadership teams as well as client entertainment and has been known to revolutionise organisations and individuals. In order to accommodate delegate’s needs, facilitators will make themselves available for additional discussion and conversation with delegates after completion of the Firewalk process.

TACTICAL ASSAULT (2 - 3 hours)

Requires large outdoor bush area

In business today, companies need to position themselves correctly in the market sector –plan assaults on competitors and defend your company from hostile takeovers.

This is far from the usual “rubber tyre Paint Ball” but rather a “Tactical war game”. TAS is designed to test a team’s ability to rise above overwhelming odds. With TAS, teams learn how to plan, art s and implement their assault or defence strategy. The delegates are assured of having a good laugh and loads of fun!

CHARITY TREASURE HUNT (1, 2 or 3 hours)

Any suitable indoor or outdoor venue

The objective of these exciting variants of some of our team building activities is for delegates to have fun, experience fantastic venues and visits almost on their doorsteps and be able to provide a toy for a needy child.  At each destination they will also find a part of the toy that they must build at the end of the race.  The toys are sourced from underprivileged sources.
